    I use this on my white Mustang bass with a 3 1/2" black leather Clayton strap backing it. It look's great and the thin leather is very old school. I figure this strap to last a long time and stretch after a while if the leather is conditioned every once in a while. Since the leather is thin I add the backing strap as I'd seen guys do when I was a kid. I bought all three designs of these Ace reissues they are selling here and this one look's much better in real life than it does in the pictures while the others looked great in pictures and real life.

    I bought this strap due to its vintage look and seeing a picture of jimi hendrix using one. after getting my guitar out and attaching it, i realized it needed to be let out. i adjusted it to make it as long as possible and it's still way too short to play the guitar comfortably. i'm 5-9, 205 pounds, and i don't sling my guitar low like page. to have the guitar sit comfortably on my hip, the strap would need to be at least 6 inches longer. if you play with the guitar up on your chest like john lennon, well then it'll be perfect for you
