Very sturdy. There's no looseness or cheapness, yet still smooth and sleek. Feels like it will last a lifetime of being tossed around. Real nice!

Use this on acoustic, electric, 6 and 12 strings and it works great. My hands don't like a clamp in the way and this capo is compact so easy to work around for those open chords using all fingers. Buy two if you have more than one guitar!

I bought this based on reviews but maybe more on my perception of the right engineering. Spring operated capos are arguably faster to use but the springs have to be designed to use on the widest range of guitars. The screw mechanism on this capo is easy to use and fast, and lets me gauge the pressure needed for my specific guitar. It's slim and applies uniform pressure across the neck.

This is a great capo for 12 string guitars. I ordered 2 (more) so I have one for each 12 string guitar and keep it in the case.
