Simple but Great idea
I've heard horror stories of straps coming lose and guitars shattering when they hit the stage. I don't ever want to be one of those folks. This little gadget is of simple design. There are no modifications needed to the guitar and no additional hardware. They clip over the strap buttons after the strap is on and they are ready to use. If you don't have a dedicated strap per guitar, this is a cheap and easy way to use the same strap on different instruments without having to purchase the same expensive strap lock hardware for every guitar. This is a plastic, flexible device, so do not push it past its limits by swinging your guitar around your neck like a Nita Strauss or hanging it off of your back. Grab a handful and keep them handy.

I would NOT buy this product again
I own a Yamaha RBX350 bass. The strap studs may be a bit smaller in size - the Dual Lock Strap Lock constantly pops off the "upper" strap stud every time I pick up the bass. The lock on the "lower" stud stays put. Given that both studs are the same size, there's no reason for one to secure and one not to.

The doubled over design ensures a secure, positive engagement around the strap button. The thin polymer body fits in between a thick strap and strap button with a large head that other strap locks did not work with. However, with the particular hardware combination I have, the cable holding feature does not easily work. #sweepstakes
One of the single-most useful bits of gear. Ever.

After years of trying the rubber gasket-type strap holders to considering (briefly) having my guitars drilled out for custom locks, along comes these little beauties. They fit all of my guitars and they are extremely strong for their size.

#sweepstakes This is a simple solution to lock your strap! I love them! easy to use. I noticed though that on some guitar strap buttons, if you pull on the wide side of the lock, you can easily dislodge. So i could imagine a scenario where the strap is pulling hard on the wide side it could cause it to fail. I recommend that you turn the wide side of the lock so that it is away from the strap (see uploaded photo). #sweepstakes

I was skeptical, but these are really cool little gadgets to keep any strap in place. No installation and cost-effective enough to get several.
It works, very simple but, functionable

You look at these things and, think Naw I don't think so. I thought I would try them and see for myself. Well they work perfectly and, the built in cable holder is also a Great idea. No modifications to anything, just snap them on that's it. I'm going to buy 2 more sets.
