This mouthpiece lasts with no problem. Mine has been in use for 25 years and going. After 25 years of marching, concerts and a lot of abuse, my mouthpiece only has scratches and some tiny dents.

  • Indestructible, Great tone.

I'm a senior in high school and have been playing since 6th grade. When it came time to upgrade from my Bach 18 that I had for so long, I got this. I've marched it, played symphonic band with it, and everything in between. It has a great, solid tone. Very deep, not brassy at all. My range has extended from BBBb to F above the staff! One time, during a football game, we were standing at the top of the stand and I was blowing in my mouthpiece to keep it warm. I dropped this thing from the VERY top of the stands. When someone brought it up to me, the shaft had a VERY small, almost unnoticeable dent in it and the rim had one scratch. THAT is truly amazing. If you're a serious player, or if you're even thinking of just upgrading to something better, get this. You won't regret it. I lost mine, and I'm going to day to get another one.
