It was worth a shot

The pack I got contained 15 picks, mostly white or ivoroid. Two were red. The picks were about an even mix of Delrin and celluloid. There were a couple of large triangles, a bunch of regular teardrops, and one small teardrop. They ranged from .020" to .050" thick. I've been playing for a long time and I already know what picks I prefer. I basically added this to my order to qualify for free shipping. I tried them all. There were five or six picks in the group that I will keep. It was a cheap, interesting experiment. This item might be useful for someone just starting out who wants to try a variety of sizes, thicknesses, and materials.

Not quite what I expected.

I didn't expect these to be high end picks for the price, but I Had hoped there would be some variety of colors or styles at least. I received 8 plain white cheep-o basic picks and 2 smaller green basic picks that maybe I can give to a kid. Again, the price was low, so my expectation was too, but it is not at all like the description leads you to believe.

    The reviews are true - you may get 6-7 of the same colour [white], though the gauges differ. But if you're in it for aesthetics, you're gonna be disappointed. If you want a variety of picks for a ridiculously low price, this is for you.

    These are pretty decent picks and are a great buy. Every opinion is subjective, but I like this type of pick. They will break from a lot of use, but they don't give up fast. I don't mind pitching a broken pick from time to time if it is has the right feel while I am using it, and these do. I would recommend anyone to have an assortment of these around.

    AMAZING, The tone I get out of these picks is just incredible, exactly the same as picks costing 50 times. and they fit PERFECTLY between my thumb and forefinger. and they are colored, which makes them easy to find if I drop them on the stage in front of thousands of screaming fans. Maybe not yet, but it's best to plan ahead. what else can you say in a review of a pick
