Introduction to the Neo Creamback

Description
Celestion’s engineers have developed a new and innovative way to better harness the mighty forces of the neodymium magnet, enabling us to create a guitar speaker that can deliver authentic Creamback tone with ease, while preserving the benefit of neodymium’s much lighter weight.
You still get the low end punch, warm, vocal midrange and sweet refined highs the Creamback is famous for. Push it hard and enjoy the race-car growl that sets pulses racing. But pick up a cab that’s loaded with Neo Creambacks and you’ll see what makes this speaker truly different.

Replaced the Jensen speaker in my Fender Tone King Deluxe Reverb. Warmer tone without brittle highs

I have two of these in a closed back 2x12 cab I made myself from 3/4" baltic birch plywood. The wood by itself is pretty heavy, so choosing the Neo's was a big help with the weight. The tone is outstanding-sounds just like the Vintage 30s only less hairy and more defined. They make my cab a rock and roll machine.

Sounds really good on its own. Sounds incredible matched with a Vintage 30.

Don't underestimate the neo creamback for its weight. Once this speaker is broken in. Look out. I mixed this speaker up with 2 v30s and 2 neo creambacks in my Marshall 4x12. This will be my set up for years to come.

Will a 65 PRRI with upgraded 15 watt PT ,12 in baffle match well with this? I am debating between this speaker and the Alessandro G 12 ,but want to keep weight of amp below 30 lbs.
Yes, it will.submitted6 years ago

Can the Celestion G12 neo creamback speaker replace the Jenson C-12K speakers in the 65 twin reverb blackface model.
It depends on how much output the amp puts out. You may end up overpowering the speaker since the Celestion G12 is only 60W when the C12K is 100W/
