Good but photos are misleading

I'll start with the pros: this guitar has great, rich sound quality and beautiful craftsmanship. I have been wanting Breedlove for quite some time and am happy I finally have one. That said, I was disappointed at first because the product photos are very misleading. Nearly all the official photos show the guitar being a distinctive blue with what appears to be a dramatic grain pattern, similar to koa or myrtlewood. This isn't a popular model, so I couldn't find any "real world" photos before purchasing online. When I opened the box I thought I received the wrong guitar. It's very dark, closer to black in indirect light. The blue is very subtle and you really only see it in natural light. Unlike the photos, the grain pattern is hardly visible and is more speckled than anything else. The product photos of the Black Gold version are a better representation of what the guitar actually looks like. The guitar is still objectively great looking, I just had to adjust because my expectations were very different.
