The Bobelock "Corregidor" oblong violin case is a luxurious Hill-style case created to satisfy the most discriminating collector and player. Built using a five layered plywood case construction in the continental oblong shape, the B1051VS model features a full French fitted velvet interior with suspension cushioning. The exterior is covered with a durable nylon canvas zip cover and outside music pocket.
The Corregidor has been redesigned on a slant to increase shock protection and allow for more interior storage. You will also notice the attention to the finished detail, including four unique patented bow holder design mechanisms, brass fittings, braided cord trim, and quilt-stitched instrument bed. The case includes four bowholders, two accessory compartments, hygrometer, humistat, instrument blanket and shoulder strap. It is designed for 4/4 size only, and weighs 8 lbs.
