I possess an extensive collection of exceptional acoustic and electric string guitars, having purchased over 100 instruments throughout my lifetime. This particular guitar ranks among the top three in my collection, with the other two being custom-made, handmade guitars tailored specifically to my preferences. Notably, this guitar is comparable in quality to those two esteemed instruments. I am impressed that a guitar of this caliber can be obtained at such a reasonable cost. The tone it produces is outstanding, and its versatility is remarkable, as it requires minimal equalization, whether used in live performances or studio recordings. Typically, I only need to adjust the high-pass filter and manage the low-end response according to the specific acoustic environment or recording situation. Beyond that, I usually set the tone control between the 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions, and the volume is set to approximately 75%. I chose DAddario EJ45 strings for this guitar which produces an exceptional sound. I've tested the guitar with various sound systems, and it sounds superb in all configurations, whether connected directly to a console or used with a microphone. This guitar truly embodies the nylon-string player's ideal instrument. The Atmospher pickup system is remarkably easy to use and delivers excellent sound quality, regardless of whether I'm using it directly or through effects processing. I've successfully connected it directly to a Rupert Neve RMDi then console, and the sound quality is outstanding. The guitar case is also noteworthy, being lightweight while providing excellent protection for the instrument. Although I'm uncertain about its long-term durability, it meets my current needs. In conclusion, I highly recommend this guitar to anyone who hasn't had the opportunity to try it. Its unique sonic characteristics set it apart from other Yamaha instruments, and in my opinion, it stands out as one of the finest guitars I've played. "It's a KEEPER"

I did a lot of research and trial of many classical guitars. I needed to switch from a steel to a nylon string instrument because of my hands. I tried hybrids but was finally convinced to try a standard classical guitar with full neck width. Best decision was to buy a standard classical to accommodate learning fingerstyle playing. Second best was to choose the Yamaha NCX5. Much better for me than the NTX5. Richer and fuller sound, and way better for fingerstyle playing.
