16 High-Quality Mic Preamps for a Transparent Sound

The quality of your preamps determines the direction of your mix. The MG16's D-PRE preamps are designed to impart zero color or distortion, allowing the natural tone of voices and instruments to shine through. With 48V phantom power, you have enough clean gain for condenser mics and active DI boxes. pads help manage hot signals from line-level devices.     I bought this to use to mix audience participation with leaders in a church setting. I chose it because it had multiple XLR inputs with compression and the ability to "bus" them together for ease of control. Works great and produces great, clean sound
