For context: I purchased a 2022 SE Paul's Guitar (Black Gold Sunburst) after playing a used PRS SE Custom 24 (2018 model) for about a month. I love Guitar Center's return policy, as it allowed me to end up with a guitar that was a better fit for me. (The '22 model that I wanted was available in another store, out of state, and it was shipped to my local store for free in a single day.) Although the Custom 24 was great, I decided that I didn't really need the tremolo, and I would prefer the tuning stability of the fixed bridge. I think that the build quality on the SE Paul's Guitar is excellent, with every detail being quite beautiful. I love the flexibility of the controls (with 8 combinations total), and the mini-toggles for switching each pickup from humbucker to single coil work well. The fretboard is well crafted, and the tuning stability with the stoptail bridge is very good. Weights vary from guitar to guitar, but I notice that the Paul's Guitar is noticeably lighter than the used Custom 24. I also love the playability of this guitar. I've been playing acoustic guitar for a year, and I'm finding Paul's Guitar a joy to play!

I bought an SE 24-08 and it had a switch issue so I went back to the store and the SE Paul's Guitar in black gold sunburst had just came in. I fell in love with the look right away and decided to upgrade. This guitar punches so far above its $1000 price. The neck feels amazing, the TCI pickups with the single coil tap switches are money. The classic tuners do very well this thing stays in tune great. The bridge, which is from the Core/Private stock line I believe, is beautiful and sturdy and the copper inserts really show this is a top shelf instrument. Even though this comes from the Cor-Tek Indonesia factory it's hard to tell that this is not a US model. It's obvious they put the same level of effort into making these guitars. The finish on the frets is teardrop perfect and the fretboard is smooth. It sounds great unplugged even. So happy with this purchase
Nice workmanship.

I have had many guitars over the span of 45 years and this PRS SE Paul's guitar is up there with Gibson and Ibanez guitars in playability and tone.

Not only is the neck as smooth as silk but it is light enough to wear for several hours and sounds absolurely fabulous. One of the best guitars you will ever find in this price range. Worth every penny although I bought mine when they first came our and got and flame maple in red and the attention to detail is second to none. This guitar is nothing but fun to play and the sound it will give you is amazing, you will NOT be dissapointed. I have a hard time putting it down, I think you will too !! Did I mention GREAT pickups?

This guitar comes ready to play out of box with good action and clear sound. Nice for multiple genres of music. Very well made and also lighter than I expected. I feel for the price, it's well worth the money compared to other guitars of the same pricing group. If you like the sound, you'll love this guitar. I own 5 other models. This is one of my favorites.
Sounds as beautiful as it looks!
