Description

Complete with 2 sets of physical drawbars per manual, the Nord C2D is the ultimate portable organ for musicians that play with their drawbars as well as the keys. The new left-hand preset sections offer an unsurpassed level of hands-on control and the upper manual and panel has been tilted for better ergonomics. A LCD-display has been added for easier access to programs and settings.

The Nord C2D features a redesigned simulation of the characteristic mechanical key clicks that are an essential component of the classic tone-wheel experience. Furthermore, the redesigned percussion model offers increased control over the percussion levels when playing near-legato.

The Nord C2D also includes a redesigned Rotary Speaker simulation of a vintage 122 unit.

Naturally, the Nord C2D also includes both the Vox and Farfisa transistor organ simulations and the sampled Baroque Pipe Organ from the acclaimed Nord C2 Combo Organ. The Nord Piano Library and the Nord Sample Library can be downloaded in their entirety from the Nord website.

    Please YouTube "Nord C2D Demo Cedric Jackson" to watch my 4-minute demo (Use headphones/monitors). The Nord C2D provides the best means of replicating the Hammond B3/C3/A100 you're accustomed to WITHOUT A LESLIE (i.e. bass rig, powered speaker, etc.). When you do decide to pair it with a Leslie (i.e. 122), the sound is INCREDIBLE! Rotary Switch: 1) Ashby Gigger HalfMoon rotary switch (Google it). Pedals 2) Concerning pedals, I'd go with Nord 27 PedalKeys. In my video demo below, I'm using the JG3 Tech pedals. They are a complete DIY project (had to replace cheap springs with rubber bands, pedals cut out when major appliances turn on). Organ Bench 3) JG3 Adjustable Organ Bench Organ Stand 4) For a stand, I'd go with the Quik Lok WS-540 Mixer Stand. Organ Expression Pedal 5) For an expression pedal, the only option that I know works for sure is the Yamaha FC7 Expression Pedal.

    Is the Nord C2D Organ at a location near me?

    I'm not seeing any at your local stores, but you can place an order via the website and have it shipped to the store. You can check it out when you pick it up, and if you don't like it, you can return it then and there.
