Tons of features in this little pedal

Using this as an full rig with a overdrive in front and delay after. Love the integrated tuner which saves another pedal. The SW is a little hard to get working but once you figure it out you can download lot of ToneNet presets and pretty sure you'll find some that work for you. I settled on a couple lower gain Plexi tones which sounds as good as my UAFX Lion. Nice that it has built in reverb but haven't figured out how to change from spring to plate which seems to be an option in the SW? Power supply for this is important since I had a high pitch hum when I string more than one pedal to a supply (this hum was not in the UAFX Lion at all).

Love the Tonex platform, but just meh on the Tonex One

I am a big fan of the Tonex (and Amplitube) platform(s). I like the size and price of the Tonex One but not loving the pedal, I am struggling to figure out how I am going to use this pedal. I recommend looking into the Tonex Pedal or the Tonex Plug. I have a Tonex Pedal as well and love it, this is far more difficult to use as a stand alone pedal (not bad if connected to a computer and controlling it through the software. Bought this a week before the Tonex Plug and I am contemplating returning this for either s Tonex Plug or a used Tonex Pedal, If I keep it, I will likely just load some pedal captures onto it and use it infront of my Tonex Pedal, but for a basic down and dirty (snd inexpensive) practice tool the Tonex Plug looks to be a better option. I am not saying don't buy this, just saying do your research into what is the best option for your specific needs, also keep in mind what it comes with on the software side when considering price/value to you. The doftware this comes with is a but limited where as the Tonex Pedal has a lot more software with it, for me the software is not a factor.

This exceeded my expectations. The tones are great and the editor makes using the pedal that much easier.

Bought this on a whim. Was a little frustrated at first learning how tobuse the editing software and functions of the pedal itself but once you learn it, its surprisingly easy to navigate. The fact that it doubles as an interface is a nice bonus. Its a bit limited on effects, only having a gate, comp, single fx, delay and reverb available at one time. The amp sims are superb. They sound better than many units that cost 2-3 times as much. My one gripe is the price gouging on the additional software packs you would have to buy to get EVERY tone available.

  • Return it within the 14 day window and you'll be happy

The software makes the tonex one practically unusable, it's amazing they even sell these things, just marketing and hype. I wish I could return it but I'm passed the return window, what a shame, it promised so much but delivered nothing but software bugs and frustration. Stay away.
