Versatile built-in stereo mixer with Bluetooth

VARI 2300 speakers have a versatile stereo mixer built right in, with all inputs available at once. Solo and small group musicians can plug in a couple of mics or instruments, along with stereo keyboard or electronics, and still have aux and Bluetooth input as well. You can also easily connect your own mixer to the high-quality balanced stereo line inputs.

Smart Stereo links audio and control for a speaker pair

Innovative Smart Stereo easily links a pair of VARI 2300 speakers for optimal audio routing and unified control. You’ll connect all inputs to the first speaker, and then connect a single mic cable between the speakers to link them. Incredible value and great sound

I'm admittedly a basshead and huge EDM fan. I listen to all genres but at this phase of my life most of it is EDM. I am also an audiophile and sound snob regularly judging what brand of sound reinforcment each show we visit is using. PK sound is of course at the top. All that said, these are an incredible value because of the clarity and volume of sound. Alone they are good enough to play house music and with a pair of subs you will have a phenomenal setup for dubstep and riddim. I paired these with two of the Harbinger 18" subs and put them on a pole from the sub. Outdoors they are plenty loud enough to entertain a group of 50-100 people at a high volume and probably more depending how loud the event needs to be. Indoors with the subs, this setup absolutely vibrates the entire house while sounding great. The bluetooth feature is super nice if you don't feel like connecting all your eqiupment to these or if you want to play some background music before the show starts. Just connect an XLR cable from the speaker your bluetooth is connected to the secondary speaker and you'll have sound from both. Read the manual for how to set the inputs to accommodate this. You can even continue the chain of XLR cables to both subs. Three XLR cables, two speakers, two subs and a power strip will have you throwing killer block parties in 10 minutes or less. Be aware that you absolutely can blow the drivers in these. The first set I bought were open box and literally both of them were broken. One had a high pitch loud squeal and the other had a blown woofer. I returned them and they got me setup with a new pair at a nice discount. Listen to the speakers and if you see the limit light or hear distortion turn the volume down or turn the bass knob down. Treat the equipment well and it'll treat you well. I never buy warranties but I got one of these considering that we play EDM so we're very hard on speakers. I can't rate the warranty but I hope guitar center will be easy to deal with in the event I need to use it. One last thing - the very first party we threw one vibrated off my 18" sub stack (custom built) and fell 4' to the ground. After plugging it back in there were no issues. Cosmetically a little scratch but that was it. I was very happy about how durable these have been so far.

Falling apart

First, no way they're 2000 watts. But no one really believes that anyway. Second, they do sound good and it's easy to link up multiple speakers. BUT... both of mine are coming apart. I already have one in the shop getting warranty repairs for loose cabinet screws that are stripped. I just notice the same thing on my other one. The back of the speaker panel has a smaller, inset panel where all the connections are made. That inset panel is held to the back panel with tiny screws that (a) don't have any way to screw them; just a round hole; (b) except for 1 (out of 6), all the screws have come loose and dropped out; (c) the screw holes are stripped. Unfortunately, the speaker I have in the shop has been there for close to 6 weeks. They're waiting for Harbinger to do something. It's too bad they're so cheaply made because if it weren't for that, I'd give 5 stars. If you buy one, I'd recommend putting a little dab of super-glue on each of those screws first thing. I tried to temporarily hold things together with some other screws I had lying around but they don't really fit, as you can see in the picture.

I run 2 of these and the 18" sub in my outdoor bar and they work well. I guess I turned it up a bit too much the other night and blew the amp on one after exactly 2 years lol. There are probably better speakers out there for people who need pro gear , but for my use , they are perfect!

Right now, I have only used this speaker while practicing at home. It has great capabilities with some of the latest technology. The bluetooth technology, multiple XLR jacks, and the treble and bass adjustment knobs ability are great to have and the sound is clear and full. Exactly what I need. It is the best with a great price.

Since Covid19, I start karaoke. First, I bought the passive speakers and a power amp mixer. However, it's heavy when moving places to places therefore, a friend of mine suggested to sell my passive system and get an active speaker(s) plus a digital mixer. I'm clueless but I follow his suggestion and sold my passive system. Then I bought a pair of Rockville power RPG8 active speakers and Soundcraft FX notepad 12 digital mixer. They were much better than my previous passive system. As times goes by, I upgrade to these Harbinger 2315 active (pair) speakers because they were on sale and also a friend of mine suggested that these speakers. I can honestly say these speakers were awesome and love it. None of my friends and those whom hear the speakers complained or has negative about it other than good stuffs. As a matter of fact, some of my friends and their friends say these Harbinger were far better than the QSC speakers that their buddies has. Well, since owning these Harbinger active speakers what I hate most or major negative for me is the knots control volume. These knots has no lines or numbers on it so very hard to tell exactly where the volume set at. My previous Rockville knots has lines so I know exactly where to set them. If you buy one speaker then probably not an issue for you but I have a pair and one on each side therefore, I want to set the knots volume exactly the same so they are even sound out and also prevent damage to the one of the speakers but very hard to tell since Harbinger wants cheap way. If you are like some others and turn everything to the max and let your mixer control the volume then no problems. I guess, I should have stick with Rockville and bought a bigger pair with more watts like these Harbinger and see how they sound. I would buy again but if other brands has similar sound, watts, and price that their knots has lines or numbers I would rather get them instead of Harbinger!

What is the power draw for this speaker, say I have 2 of these and want to run at 1300 watts is 2600 watts the draw from the outlet or is it Less because the electricity is amplified through the built in amplifier

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
117.5v. The wattage is what the amp delivers. Wattage is irrelevant to current draw. If it's made for the U.S. market, It will draw 117.5v - wall current.
