VARI V4115 Powered Speaker with 2,500W

High-Impact Sound and Remarkable Audio Clarity

The transducers of the VARI V4115 speaker use unique proprietary XR technology, employing innovative construction, proprietary adhesives and premium-spec materials to dramatically reduce the unintended vibrations and material deformations that cause distortion and lack of clarity in lesser speakers. These drivers are teamed with 2,500 watts of peak power to deliver impressive volume levels while maintaining detailed sound.

VARI V4115 15″ speaker with visual DSP

Visual DSP Control and Wireless iOS App

The color LCD screen shows the frequency response impact of all current settings at a glance, for incredibly intuitive adjustments. A free app for iPhone and iPad gives you wireless control to tune and configure the speakers from the audience position, with seven bands of parametric EQ. Ten customizable voicings handle common applications, and six preset memories let you easily recall your preferred settings.

VARI 4000 Series with Smart Stereo linking

Smart Stereo Links Audio and Control for a Speaker Pair

Innovative Smart Stereo easily links a pair of VARI V4115 speakers for optimal audio routing and unified control. You’ll connect all inputs to the first speaker, and then connect a single XLR cable between the speakers to link them. The first speaker will then set all volume and tuning for the pair, making true stereo setups a breeze.

Versatile inputs and Bluetooth control on the VARI V4115 loudspeaker

Versatile Built-in Stereo Mixer With Bluetooth

The VARI V4115 speaker has a versatile stereo mixer built right in, with all inputs available at once. Amazing sound and price .....But.

Live sound one man band and DJ music. I own a pair of an earlier harbinger model 600w model and love it for small gigs and monitors with my bigger system. I saw these in the store and decided to link my phone via BT to see how they sounded with my music, flat eq, nothing but my phone, music and the speaker. It blew me away for the first 5 Min. Amazing quality of sound and then..... I decided to scroll through some of the on board dsp settings that are also customizable and then..... nothing..... nothing at all. I couldn't exit the screen, I couldn't do anything, no sound, nothing. It had power just not processing g anything. The scroll pot was not operating the small screen functions at all. The onboarding dsp processor simply just decided to crash... maybe I was scrolling g too fast?!? IDK but it took me having to turn it off and unplug it and plug it back in and on to reset it. Then it worked great once again with no issues, I only stayed about 10 more minutes as I was getting "THE LOOK" from my wife. So, sum it all up. My experience with Harbinger had been 99%positive and I would recommend these to anyone looking for great affordable sound. However I hope the freeze/crash was a fluke cause that would really suck in a live setting having to shut down and reset everything. I hope if this is an issue they can fix it.

Gets the job done

This speaker ticked all the boxes for what I needed and even had extra features like built in DSP and Bluetooth which I figured "Well... why not?" It's a shame I didn't demo it long enough to realize that the sound from this thing is definitely sub par. It's not terrible, but its far from great. It's just okay. If you need a floor monitor for practice, this is getting your money's worth. It's affordable and has more than enough power to pump out your sound. However, a couple things I noticed were the poor voicing settings, hissy and fizzy high end, and it's STUPID heavy. The EQ it uses has 7 bands. Unfortunately it's just not precise enough to actually notch out transients. You can basically either boost or cut the low or high end, or the whole signal. You can quantize each EQ band, but it's still not a precise cut and the final result tends to be tinny and has too much high end sizzle. The Bluetooth app is cool but mildly useless in an actual performance. This thing makes a powerful speaker for the cookout, though. I absolutely love it for just playing music out on the porch. For an actual monitor though, I wouldn't use this speaker as a main PA. Only as a floor monitor. There's better options for the same price.

For DJ service after 10 events:2 units for less than 100 guests in a wedding is perfect. 4 units and 2-18-subs for events up to 450 No Problem. One HD failed . I replace it with a 1.75 -maximum size for the interior room- the sound improved by 30%. I'm very happy. We also use QSC 12.

Purchased for floor wedges at our rehearsal location. To my surprise these things really rock, more than I imagined and very pleased with quality of sound. I wouldn't be afraid to play live using these as mains. I am very pleased with the purchase and would recommend these for the average weekend warrior.

The speaker is used at venues by a DJ. It works well either by itself or matched with a duplicate powered speaker.

Can I Link more than 2? I have one set up as the main, with an XLR from the link out on speaker 1 to the link in on speaker 2. Can I take a line from link out on speaker 2 into link in on speaker 3? Ultimately I'd like to link 4 speakers, but wondered if there was enough power / amps to do so.

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
Yes, you can. It's not a matter of power. Each speaker has it's own power.

Can I actually play it on full? I played it on 3/4 and it hurt my ears like 50ft away I do not wanna damage this new speaker

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
That's much like asking if you can drive your car at 120 mph because that's what the speedometer goes up to. . There are no rules for this. Specs are specs and have very little meaning in the real world. If it's at 3/4 now, you wouldn't know the difference at full. You're guitars and vocals may be fine, for a while, but give it a good hit with a kick drum................................??. Remember, speakers wear out. The harder you work them, the quicker they wear. At 3/4, they're working hard now and they're plenty loud. I would advise no.
