Marty Schwartz Epiphone ES-335

Epiphone
Description
The Epiphone Marty Schwartz ES-335 signature semi-hollow electric guitar features a smooth-playing ’60s SlimTaper Rounded C neck profile with an Indian laurel fretboard. It’s adorned with small pearloid block inlays and a Marty Music logo on the back of the headstock. The 5-ply layered maple body is capped with a AAA-figured maple veneer and is finished in Sixties Cherry. Rock-solid tuning stability is ensured by the Grover 502C Roto-Grip Locking Rotomatic tuners and Graph Tech nut. The other ends of the strings are anchored with an Epiphone LockTone Tune-o-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece.

The flexible electronics include Epiphone Alnico Classic PRO pickups, each with a push/pull volume control for coil-splitting, while the neck pickup's tone control features a push/pull phase switch.

A hardshell case is also included.

Marty Schwartz has been the face of guitar education on the internet for the last decade and a half. With over 3.5 million YouTube subscribers, over 2 billion video views, and a career longer than most rock bands, Marty Schwartz has arguably taught more people how to play guitar than anyone else in the world.

I've been looking at a 335 for a long time but simply couldn't justify the Gibson. This Epiphone plays and sounds like a dream. Without a doubt the most bang for the buck of any guitar I've ever purchased. The Marty S. model is a winner with craftsmanship commensurate with an axe 3 to 4 times the price. Nice job Epiphone. Also got this at an unreal price and it arrived the next day.

I compared various ES-335 models before buying this one. I bought it because of the upgrades, not because of Marty. For a few hundred more you get locking tuners, AAA flame body, slim neck, Grapghtech nut, case, coil split, in/out phase, block inlays. This is the best value ES going!

The Epiphone Marty Schwartz ES-335 is a great guitar for blues, rock, alternative, or anything else you throw at it. You can pull great tones both as a rhythm player or as a solo player. Have Guitar Center professionally set up the guitar and it will make the guitar easier to play and sound even better than straight out of the box. This guitar is great as a practice guitar or on stage and is really a lot of fun to play...
