The '60s SlimTaper neck profile paired with an ebony fingerboard makes playing effortlessly smooth. Critically acclaimed P-90 pickups serve up growling midrange and singing highs, evoking the vintage-hot tone that defined rock's early days. With a LockTone bridge and tailpiece, tuning stability is rock solid. Plug in and let your playing take flight with the Les Paul Custom P-90.

Bound Mahogany Body and Maple Top Provide Legendary Les Paul Sustain and Tone

The Les Paul Custom P-90 starts with a foundation of resonant mahogany, topped with maple for enhanced clarity and sustain. Just like the original 1950s Les Pauls played by legends, its gloss finish lets the wood ring to its full potential. The classic binding along the body and neck looks stunning, while also preventing picking-hand abrasion. When you pick up the Les Paul Custom P-90, its comfortable weight feels substantial in your hands, promising thick, singing tone as soon as you strum your first chord.

'60s SlimTaper Neck Profile and Ebony Fingerboard Enable Smooth Lead Work

Shredding lightning-fast solos is effortless along the Les Paul Custom P-90's '60s SlimTaper neck profile. Its smooth, rounded contours invite your hand to fly up and down the neck with ease. The ebony fingerboard enhances note articulation while resisting wear over years of intense playing. Medium-jumbo frets are neatly finished for fluid bending and vibrato techniques. Whether you're playing bluesy licks or wailing metal riffs, the Les Paul Custom P-90 empowers your creativity through its slick playability.

P-90 Pickups Summon Vintage-Hot Rock and Blues Tone

The Les Paul Custom P-90 comes loaded with two P-90 pickups, which were hot-rodded in the 1950s to keep up with the demands of early rock and roll. Their sharp attack and singing sustain add vintage flavor that stands out in a mix. When you engage both pickups, the tone is thick and aggressive, perfect for overdriven blues solos. Flip to just the bridge pickup for a punchy twang that cuts through a live band. Dial back the volume for glassy cleans with chime. However you use them, these period-correct P-90s authentically capture a seminal era in guitar tone.

LockTone Bridge and Tailpiece Keep the Les Paul Custom P-90 in Tune

No matter how hard you dig in or bend notes, the Les Paul Custom P-90 won't go out of tune thanks to its stable LockTone bridge and tailpiece. Epiphone Deluxe tuners also enhance the look at tuning stability of this timeless guitar. When you want classic Les Paul mojo with modern playability, plug into the Epiphone Les Paul Custom P-90 Guitar Center-exclusive electric guitar.

This was not on my radar but it caught my eye and after trying it out I ended uip purchasing it. The fit and finish are good, no sharp frets and I like the sound of the P-90 pickups. It did require a quick setup to get the action to my liking. Great looking, great sounding axe.

Had mine for almost a year now. But i'll tell you now that I never thought that a single coil Les Paul would have so much character. The P-90's offer more output than I was looking for, but because of the audio tapered pots most of the adjustments are in the sweet spot by default. The neck and fretwork is very good. The electronics feel and sound incredible, I use every spot in between, so there's no sense in upgrading the electronics. Note: I did put a drop of heavy silicone oil in the pickup selector switch, now it's smooth and quiet. NOTE: This guitar is "alive", so yea, there is a lot of noise when plugged into an amp at higher gain settings. But it's only annoying when you're not playing!

I'm always apprehensive purchasing a Chinese made guitar, but the quality is outstanding on this model. The sound and playability is superb. At this price point, I can't think of a better guitar.

This Guitar Center exclusive has a great feeling neck, P-90 pickups that allows me to play diverse styles, from ripping solos, to nice mellow rhythms, and is very reasonably priced. This Epiphone LP definitely punches above it's weight class.

I've compared both the Gibson and Epiphone Les Paul in guitar stores and loved them both. Been playing 10 years and can say that this particular Epiphone Les Paul was impressive. Maybe I got the luck if the draw from manufacturing; who knows. Frets, P90s, and overall sound and quality was spot on for us budget guys without compromising my bond with my guitars. Enjoy the vintage sound!

  • This is a very different kinda geetar, but does it well.

I picked this up at my local guitar center. Binding, fit finish perfect. adjusted the pickups a bit and the action is a skosh high but not worth messing with. Pickups are broad in spectrum and as advertised will be a bit on the high end. One of the only guitars where the tone controls matter. does have a little bite on the fret edges, easily addressed. intonation spot on. tuners? eh.. kluxon type, not bad. The neck is what freaks me out. I have broad hands and not long fingers. this neck is the biggest Ive ever played on any guitar. I like it. Gives your thumb something to push against for bends and whatnot. There is a learning curve (which I like). Its also very good looking for a finger print covered black guitar ;) Recommend a Van's inspired neck strap, black and white checkers. The standard les paul case is too small for this beast by the way. be sure to try a case out before you buy.
