Epiphone | Jared James Nichols "Gold Glory" Les Paul Custom

Epiphone

Description

The Epiphone Jared James Nichols "Old Glory" Les Paul Custom electric guitar is the premier signature guitar by the rising star from Les Paul’s hometown. Nichols says, "I've always been drawn to the sound of the Les Paul Junior and the feel of a Les Paul Custom. Since there wasn't a model like that available, I modified my own Les Paul Custom. After playing the first lick on this guitar, it was so gratifying and humbling, I was inspired to play and share my music with the world."

The "Old Glory” features a classic 1955-style Les Paul Custom body with a single Seymour Duncan P90 pickup, an ebony fretboard with block inlays and Grover Rotomatic tuners. It comes with an EpiLite case and is available for a limited time only.

I bought this guitar several months ago and have played it live a bunch of times. I really like the chunky neck and it makes you learn to use the tone and volume knobs to make up for the single pickup, which I view as a positive. No real negatives, but it will need a setup to play really well.

This is the first Epiphone I have ever purchased. I own very high-end guitars, but I am very impressed with the quality of this guitar....it is beautiful. The workmanship on the guitar that I received is excellent, and I am very picky. Beautiful feel to the neck, the weight is perfect and the sound is wonderful.....would totally recommend this guitar...
