I bought one last night. That's either a strength or a weakness of my review! It has every ounce of tone you could ask for. OD channel with the gain low is so soulful. Sounds brilliant with a light touch or a heavy hand. Very impressed. Got it for recording, but will gig with it.
Blackstar really nailed it with this one!

This little guy sounds like a Hiwatt or Matchless. It does not sound like a "little" amp. Very reliable crunch and distortion. There are a miriad of sounds in there. The sound is just amazing! Add to that all the connectivity and you have the ultimate studio guitar amp! Ultimate rehearsal amp...small gig amp...just hard to stop playing this beauty!

I tried to find the tubes, but I could only find circuitry that seemed better fit for a solid state amp. In which part of the amp are the tubes?
