Got this for connecting a turntable a few years ago. Rediscovered it a a few days ago - I'm now using it to connect my guitar amp's headphone output to USB on my PC and on my iPhone X. I can now record direct to Waveform or other programs on PC, and into GarageBand on the phone. Works just like my U-Phoria UM2 guitar/mic interface, except it wants a line level (headphone) signal. It plays sound from the PC over the headphone jack, an unexpected bonus, so multi-tracking works great. Can also hook up my keyboards and use their internal sounds in my recordings, or use it to connect a mixer to your PC. Don't remember any driver issues but I installed this long ago. Connecting at the same time as my UM2 (into a second USB port), I can now record 2 guitars and bass at the same time! For iPhone you may need a USB-to-Lightning cable. And then you get sound from phone to PC as well as record vinyl or other line level sources on the phone. Plus, the iPhone X can provide power to the UFO202 through the USB connection so it becomes very portable. Add a Vox AmPlug guitar headphone amp and you can record anywhere.

This product worked exactly as described. It entirely met my needs. Even though I ordered it online, the store in Akron, Ohio answered all of my questions in advance.

I purchased this (UFO202) to replace an older version that was supplied free with a Behringer mixer (XENIX24442FX), because of the additional feature of RIAA eq. Guitar Center shipping excellent. However when I tried to use it on a W7 64 bit machine it was not recognized. Looking on the Behringer web site I was advised that the UFO202 is an obsolote product, no longer supported for diver updates. After some searching I found that current or newer models have 64 bit driver update and I downloaded it. Of our four 64 bit systems only two would work with the new driver installed. The UFO202 works fine with older computers, mostly VISTA 32 bit models. Noticed all glowing reviews on this site are from 2010.

You can use the RCA inputs to connect to your CD player. You would need an Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit to connect this to an iPad.
