Behringer
Description
The Behringer DJX700 5-Channel Pro DJ Mixer with Digital Effects & BPM Counter will liven up your events. You get a 5-channel DJ mixer loaded with must-have groove features such as high-grade 45mm Ultraglide faders with 500,000-cycle life expectancy. Behringer's VCA (Voltage Controlled Amplifier) technology goes hand-in-hand with the faders -- the audio signal does not run directly through them; instead, the faders only provide a control voltage to the VCAs. The advantage: practically no audio noise caused by mechanical wear.

Your crowd will be astounded by the 47 breathtaking digital effect presets in 24-bit quality. They include delay, reverb, flanger, filter, panner, ultrabass, exciter, Vinylizer, voice changer, and more.

Beatmatching tracks is a cinch with the intelligent BPM counter. Features like Sync Lock and Beat Assist help you seamlessly align two tracks without having to rely solely on your ears.

The awesome XPQ 3-D surround function widens the stereo image and adds life and transparency to your sound.

The improved ULN (Ultra Low-Noise) preamps keep your sound clean with nothing added. You get maximum headroom, minimal noise, and ultra-transparent sound.

BIG features with a not so BIG price!

I've been a DJ for over 15 years and seen it all. I know there are better names in pro audio, but for someone who messed with them all, Behringer puts together a solid product. They know what the industry asks for and makes it affordable. Currently, my Behringer mixer is my backup, but with its exceptional functionality, it could just be promoted to my primary. Great for those who are new to the industry or for those who are watching there budget.

Disappointing Signal Loss

A bit disappointed in my purchase. I expected it to be a bit flimsy due to the price, but the reduction in the volume and quality of the music was more than I expected. Played first through the mixer, then tried it from external sound card directly to amp - incredible improvement. Concluded that signal loss through the mixer was pretty substantial. Can't afford Pioneer, so will try something else.

I picked up this mixer after reading a few good reviews about it. Dont I have had it for a few days now and it's just garbage, the sound effects are bad and the crossfader bleeds horridly. Anybody looking to save money or buy cheap should just stay away from this mixer. I plan on returning it first thing tomorrow after only having it for a few days and would rather have a basic Numark or Gemini over this junk the Behringer djx700 may look like a high end Pioneer but its not even close.

I was in a mind recently when my old numark went kaput. I'm a subcontracted resident DJ at a club and I bring all my own gear, that cost really adds up. But still, I need something reliable and versatile. This Befringer really does the job. Not only can I tweak sounds I couldn't before, I have 5 channels to work with now. GC got the thing to me in 5 days (including the weekend) just in time for my three night stint at my spot. I am very happy with this model and GC's price and service.

  • Pioneer wanna-be. It's a good thing :)

The kills are tight, the channels are easy to distinguish and the effects aren't bad. The lay out is easy and hand accessible-meaning that everything is within finger's reach. When you're thumb's doing one thing, your fingers can be doing something else. Location location location!-lol If you want a pioneer, but can't shell out the high price, this is your best bet, and can even be a great addition to your rig! -Dj Gjestar

I have been using this mixer for bout a 2 years and I play on a regular basis. I have not had one problem with my mixer. I found the effects to be very useful and it goes well with the Numark TTX1s if your into to throwing some loops on your style. Hands down even if I had the money to buy a Pioneer mixer I would definitly get another bheringer just for the fact that it has done me well and I would say it is pretty close to Pioneer just cheaper.
