    The perfect size for all my metal instruments. the hard rubber side is great for volume and higher pitched sound. The softer side has a felt covering and is really great for more harmonics and resonating sounds on m y metal, meditation/sound bath objects like bell chimes and bowls. A great little mallet that gets a lot of use in my music.
