Hal Hopson presents a new SAB edition of what has become a modern Christmas choral classic, A Festival of Lessons and Carols, making it accessible to medium and smaller choirs for the first time. Containing a variety of carols---some familiar, some unfamiliar jewels---arranged in Hopson's trademark style---the traditional nine lessons reflect inclusive language, natural poetic phrasing, and clarity of thought. The service can be performed with organ alone, but the optional orchestration offers greater variety and color.
