I bought one as I've seen the atlas brand and their weight and durability since I was a kid. Mine works great still to this day minus the feet coming off and the fact that my air suspension stopped working the week I got it. Wish the top mic adapter was cheaper to replace 60 seems steep for a 3 inch piece of metal. I do karaoke and my singers love to crank the mic clips onto the stands until it's impossible to take them off without replacing this piece.

  • Well worth the few extra bucks

I tried some less expensive stands and will never make that mistake again. The air-cushioned Atlas stands are the absolute best.

My 60 year old U67 and I can now rest easy. I have corrected the error of my ways by buying this "big boy" stand.

I have two of these bad boys since 1974. Still work and still dependable. Atlas has sent me the rubber feet four times in their lifetime with me to replace the old ones. If you want a mic stand that will survive a nuclear disaster, here it is.

This mic stand is heavy and well-built. It is perfect for supporting heavier mics and accessories. Looks good and should last a lifetime.

I have had great experiences in the studio with several other models of Atlas stands and this model is no exception. The base is extremely heavy and the stand is substantially made and stable- the perfect combination for a heavy microphone and SE 'Space" reflection filters
