Description

Triple Threat: "Triple Ply Technology" makes this drumhead from Aquarian possible. Three plies of 7mil Full-Range drumhead film are molded to act as one powerful, strong snare drumhead. Aquarian's advanced molding procedures make this Triple Threat drumhead durable and powerful, yet responsive. This snare head can be used in a variety of musical settings but is particularly well suited for Hard Rock and Metal.

    Well to be specific I've got a Tama SLP 14x8 Big Black Steel snare drum and I'll put this head on, finger tight the rods while slightly pushing down on the snare then two and a half turns on each rod then the snare is ready to go! Great 3 ply with good control but not enough to get into those shuffles and ghost notes!

    I have been trying different snare heads lately and ran across the Aquarian Triple threat. I tried a two-ply coated head of a different brand, but the Triple ply was very tonal right out of the box. The sound is great and it is a very durable snare head. #sweepstakes

    i used this drum head during a live gig. i hit hard and at the end of the night i had a rip in the head (ply). this is a great snare head. great tone. i firmly believe the drum stick i was using splintered which is how the cut happened to this head. great product.

    this drum head is unlike any snare head i've ever played. 3 plys on this thing... I have mine tuned very high. and it still has that low tone pop over the high pitched rings. ive noticed that it rings quite a bit. but a moongel took care of that. one more thing is when you hit the snare directly in the middle, it just pops so loud.... perfect for BLAST BEATS. IT CUTS THROUGH

    This head is freaking amazing... I'm in LOVE!! I've never once played a triple - ply head and I was a little worried, but it has amazing attack, tone, and control. It is very sensative to touch, and tunes very well. I strongly reccommend this head for anyone who wants something very durable for a nice price. Personally i think this head is perfect for live settings or any genre of music!

    I was skeptical about this head at first. Three ply?! I guess the next step up would be a kevlar marching head. But, since I'm currently playing in a very heavy metal band, I thought I'd roll the dice on the Aquarian Triple Threat. I was concerned that with a head as thick as this, I would lose feeling and response. Boy was I wrong. This head is super-sweet! Nice and powerful sound. Clean and even. And full of feeling and response. I recommend it.
