    I've been a fan of Aquarian Drumheads for a while and I just tried out this head for ocdp avalon snare. It sounds perfect! I was able to tune it tight enough to get just the right stick response and to still have a solid low tone. This head is very durable as well and can really take a pounding. You won't regret giving this snare head a shot!

    ...Normally. This is the exception. I bought one Aquarian head to try them out for the first time and I gotta say, I'm beyond impressed. This head gave my stock Gretsch catalina maple snare so much depth and low end, it was unreal. It's great because I play a nickel steel snare that is higher up and now with this aquarian, I have a maple snare that is just the opposite. I'm going to be looking into this company a lot more next time I need some heads. Thanks!
