Apogee Electronics, a pioneering force in digital audio recording technology since 1985, proudly presents the Duet 3 Limited-Edition Set, available exclusively at Guitar Center in the U.S. This special bundle gives customers an array of innovative tools to shape their recordings and kickstart any project.

This limited-edition set pays homage to the standards set by the iconic original Duet and offers customers the biggest value yet. Creators will receive the Duet 3, the Duet Dock and 3 of the best-selling Apogee plug-ins, providing everything required to break through and fulfill their potential. It includes the added value of $1,000 between the dock attachment and software plug-ins.

Hearing is believing
Achieving pristine sound quality in a digital audio converter requires engineering that artfully pairs AD/DA converters, digital clocking, analog design and power technology. Duet 3 is the result of decades of innovation and expertise, resulting in sound quality unmatched in its class.

With 2x4 channels of legendary Apogee AD/DA conversion, plus two world-class microphone preamps, Duet 3 is the perfect centerpiece for your home and mobile studio. Connect microphones, guitars, keyboard and line-level devices to capture every detail. Monitor the full depth and imaging of your sound through two truly balanced, line-level analog outputs for speakers. And power your headphones with a zero-ohm headphone output for a dedicated headphone mix.

Turn up the mic, not the noise
One of the most critical components for high-quality recordings, the mic pre in Apogee Duet 3 is extraordinary. With an astounding amount of gain and 48V phantom power, you can cleanly and precisely capture any audio source with even the most gain-hungry microphones. And thanks to meticulous Apogee engineering, you’ll keep noise and distortion down, even at higher gain levels.

Plug in to onboard DSP
To capture the best performance, you need the ability to get an inspiring sound quickly and easily. And few things are more distracting than latency when trying to record your best takes. Duet 3 gives you built-in DSP for Apogee FX processing to precisely shape your sound on input giving you great-sounding tracks, all while eliminating the delay that can occur when recording.

Zero-latency recording with the Symphony ECS channel strip
Tuned by legendary mixer Bob Clearmountain, the Symphony ECS channel strip plug-in includes EQ, compression and saturation controls that let you create the optimal blend of channel FX for tracking vocals or acoustic instruments. Choose from multiple hand-crafted Clearmountain presets and record with zero latency through Duet’s onboard DSP.

Beautiful, outside and in
Sound quality comes first, but elegant design is a close second. After all, you’re always hands-on with control of listening level and mic pre gain, so why shouldn’t the centerpiece of your studio have a high-end look and feel? The Duet multi-function digital controller knob delivers a luxurious feel for dialing in monitor levels and mic pre gain, while also giving the desktop interface-style accents backlit with purple LEDs. Perfectly contoured for ergonomic control on your desktop, the low-profile body is topped with scratch-resistant gorilla glass for a modern look and solid feel.

The Duet Breakout cable for the Duet 3 has been redesigned with streamlined connectors and a longer reach. You can keep everything connected and easily tuck it away off your desk for a clean and organized workspace.

Dock for optimal positioning of the Apogee Duet interface
The Apogee Duet set the standard for making music and recording on the go with its small footprint and flexible breakout cable. But when working in your studio, the best way to use Duet 3 is with the Duet dock. The dock positions your Duet at the ideal angle for quick adjustments and meter and function visibility. The rear-panel connectors on Duet dock make it easier to organize and connect your cables.
