I've come full circle.. I used mirror balls back in the day, and I'm back to using one again. I'd be much happier with this if it had come with a power supply for the base. I don't want to monkey around with changing batteries. There's a 1.5 volt adaptor jack on the darned thing...

I bought this kit from guitar center (online). Unfortunately, I got a defective items! The pinspot lamp wasn't working (the cord broken inside), the mirror ball motor wasn't working efficently. Anyway, I'm not recommended to order by online! We should have go directly to the store for easier shopping and exchange/return if necessary. Thanks!

I use this on my lighting truss and for an 8" ball with one light, it is a killer deal. Works just how a mirror should. Produces a great effect. It is perfect for the hobbiest, or the pro just looking for one more inexpensive but cool lighting effect to fill some space on your lighting rig. I have since bought another pin spot and use a different color lens shooting from about a 45 degree angle of the other one and it makes a cool little effect.
