Alvarez CC1 Classic Arched Acoustic Guitar Hardshell Case

How the case fits the guitar is questionable. Too much room allows the guitar to shift around. Perhaps a "best fit" is all that can be expected. Not what I was looking for, and apparently not what the manufacturer and Guitar Center desires to provide. My advice is to purchase case directly ftom the Guitar maker--unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be in the built in Asia strategy/philosophy of many companied that proclaim themselves as members of the USA either....

It's a very pretty case. Does it really matter if a case is pretty? Well, yes, kind of, to some of us. The fit of the guitar in the case is good, but not perfect. There are gaps in places around the body and it sits a little high in the pocket which is why I'm only giving it a 4 out of 5. That said, it should certainly protect the guitar adequately and that's it's job really. The guitar sitting high in the pocket makes the top not close perfectly when the guitar is in it. Aesthetically it really is pretty, the light color with the leather trim and the antiqued fittings look really nice.
