Borrowing directly from the DJM-V10, each channel on the DJM-V5 features a full 4-band EQ, compressor, filter and Send FX for detailed control across the frequency spectrum. Sixty millimeter long-throw channel faders provide precise level adjustment, while the Soft Mix Curve mode subtly attenuates high frequencies as a fader is lowered. The result is smoother, more natural blends that support refined transitions and expressive mixing techniques.

The DJM-V5 expands sonic expression with six Send FX—Short Delay, Reverb, Shimmer, Tape Echo, PingPong and Echo-Verb—each adjustable per channel via dedicated send knobs. The time control adapts to the selected effect, offering BPM-synced tactile clicks for rhythmic processing or smooth, continuous adjustment for ambient textures.
