At the heart of the A7V is ADAM's handmade X-ART tweeter, renowned for its exceptionally precise transient response that captures even the subtlest high-frequency details. The tweeter is mated with a 7" multi-layer mineral woofer that delivers powerful yet tightly controlled bass down to 40Hz. Rotatable Waveguide Optimizes Imaging 

ADAM's proprietary HPS waveguide surrounds the tweeter, controlling the dispersion pattern to create a wide, stable horizontal soundstage with a tightly focused vertical plane. This results in an expansive listening area with pinpoint imaging and a dramatic 3D sense of space. The waveguide can be rotated 90 degrees, too, so you can maintain ideal directivity whether you place the A7Vs vertically or horizontally.

Hybrid Amplification Delivers Impact and Accuracy

Driving the A7V's drivers is an advanced hybrid amplification system that harnesses the strengths of Class-D and analog designs. The woofer gets powerful, efficient Class-D amplification that keeps bass response tight and extends low-frequency reach. An analog amp powers the tweeter for ultrafast transient response. Together, they provide ample headroom (up to 116dB peak SPL per pair) while maintaining exceptional clarity and resolution.

Comprehensive Connectivity and Tuning Options

With both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, the A7V easily integrates into any studio setup. Onboard DSP allows tailoring of the speakers' voicing to your room via high/low shelf filters, parametric EQs and a variable high/low-pass crossover. A/B toggle lets you quickly compare tunings. Pair the A7Vs with Sonarworks calibration software for automated room correction and an even more faithful translation.
