This amp is just awesome. It has a nice vintage build to it and the clean channel sounds crystal clear and vibrant. The dirty channel is nice but requires a pedal if you play any metal, which I do. A tube screamer makes this tube amp scream. I highly recommend this amp to anyone looking for the warm sounds that only a tube amp can provide. I also forgot to mention that this amp looks gorgeous. This amp is also very loud! I had to buy a footswitch for it off e-bay (v series 2 button) to make the channel switching effortless and boost too. I have been playing for over 25 years and this amp sounds like the best of them! How Crate sells it for so cheap is beyond me but I am thankful they do! This Crate gets a thumbs up!

This amp is incredible for the price. Its clean channel reminds me of a peavey classic 50/50. Perfect for any style of music. Warm and punchy. Its gain channel is not bad at all if you like mild overdrive or even marshall-like crunch, It has to be the best tube amp available for the price. I have played or owned nearly every type of tube amp you could think of, and this one is well worth it.

I've been playing for six years and always knew my sound was lacking something. Tubes. Anyway, I received it a few days ago and I am amazed. The clean channel is really good. The distortion channel needs improvement. However if you have good effects pedals, it really doesn't matter. The reverb is way to spacey even at quarter turn, but if you like that, it doesn't matter anyway. Compared to others, it definitely holds its own. Don't expect a Mesa Boogie - like tone unless you have pedals. Overall this is a great buy

this is an awesome tube amp for the money! I use a multi effects mainly but whenever i want a to play it clean i use the channel on the amp. Its got a real warm sound on the clean channel that i always like to play acoustic songs on it. The distortion channel isn't that great but whatever thats what you have pedals for. It also gets real loud. I can hear this thing from inside my house down the street. Its amazing! Buy it!!!
