This thing is sooooo cool, I think anybody that dogs it either can't understand how to use it or didn't bother figuring it out - and it's easy to figure out. Thousands of sounds, or use your own, stutter effects, a swing function that's editable and very cool, voice editing, most hip hop and electronica is in 4/4/ but you can do different time signatures using a little third grade math.
Very limited functionality

This program can only play in 4/4 and can only break measures down to 8, 16, 32, or 64 increments. Forget about a real swing beat, because you can't quantize to increments of 12/24/48. Also, the sound samples include a million whirrs, clicks, and blonks, but where are the toms? I can't find them. This is probably good for dance mixes, but for rock/folk/swing/etc. it's pretty useless. My old Yamaha X17 sounds better and is more versatile

Excellent!! Idrum is a drum programmers dream come true. Finally, something was created that makes drum programming a joy! Idrum comes preloaded with its own phat drum wavs. And on top of that you can use your own drum wavs as well!! Because of this feature you will never again run out of drum sounds!!
