The ddrum NIO Percussion Pad

An Overview of the ddrum NIO Percussion Pad
Description
The ddrum NIO multipad is a must-have for drummers and percussionists looking to expand their sonic palette. This innovative pad controller features nine velocity-sensitive rubber pads and over 600 sounds to spark your creativity. The NIO is an electronic percussion pad that offers a world of rhythmic possibilities for practice, performance, and production.
Nine Expressive Pads
The NIO's nine isolated pads provide natural feel and response. Each pad triggers a variety of percussion sounds and samples. With velocity control, you can dynamically shape the tone and volume of each strike. Two trigger inputs allow you to connect additional pads or triggers and customize your setup.
Hundreds of High-Quality Sounds
The NIO comes loaded with 30 preset kits including acoustic drums, electronic drums, ethnic percussion, and sound effects. It also includes 20 user kits for storing your own customized sounds and kits. In total, the NIO offers over 600 high-definition sounds with pristine clarity and detail. Easily load your own WAV files via USB to create unique kits tailored to your music.
Full Connectivity for Performance and Production
The NIO provides all the I/O you need for any musical scenario. 1/4" stereo outputs connect to PA systems, amplifiers or audio interfaces while a 1/4" headphone output is ideal for silent practice. A 1/8" aux input allows you to play along with music. MIDI in/out ports sync the NIO with other MIDI gear or recording software. A USB B port enables loading custom sounds and connecting to your computer.
Versatile and Portable
Compact and lightweight, the NIO is the perfect percussion pad for any setup. Use it as an addition to your acoustic kit, the centerpiece of an electronic kit, or a standalone instrument for percussionists and producers. The included padded gig bag protects your NIO for transport to the stage, studio or anywhere inspiration strikes.

The Trigger inputs 1/2 and 3/4 i know they are dual Trigger inputs but can a Y-cable be used to connect 4 single zone pads to trigger inputs.
It should be able to, it's only an input signal. Are you attempting to trigger both inputs with one signal? Please give us a call to better help you out – 855-770-3373submitted2 years ago

Is the nio much or way better than the Alesis Samplepad pro far as the pads on it, are they softer on the nio? Far as the drum, cymbal and percussion samples in it realistic like the one review on here says.
This needs a little bit of discussion. Please give us a call 855 770 3373submitted2 years ago

Does the ddrum nio percussion pad have a jazz brush or brush kit in it. Also is the hihat and kick inputs can I use my yamaha hh65 and ku100 pedals with it or any other hihat control pedals or kick pedals or pads be used for the hihat and kick inputs.
No. It may. It will very possibly be inconsistent. It’s not a good idea to mix brands of e-drums.submitted3 years ago

The listing says "608 total sounds". What are they? Is there a list somewhere I can look over? If the module doesn't have the sound I want, can I import sound files?
I’m very sorry, the manufacturer has not made that information available
