Description
The MS-60B allows you to utilize up to four effects simultaneously, as well as arrange them in any combination. This gives you the ability to craft classic sounds, as well as lush, complex tones. Leave the rules you learned behind and enjoy creative freedom with the MS-60B.
Tweak with ease
The MS-60B's front panel features three parameter knobs, which also function as buttons. These buttons can be used to open various menus, where you can then use the parameter knobs to tweak your effects settings to your liking. Remove and/or rearrange effect units, turn the AUTO-SAVE function ON and OFF, recall patches and more with ease and efficiency.
Realistic, high-quality audio design
The cutting-edge ZFX-IV DSP processor can execute sophisticated algorithms using 32-bit floating-point calculations. A sigmoid curve clipper helps create the smoothly clipped waveform characteristics of tubes, providing the most realistic modeling sounds and richest harmonic components to date.
Onboard auto-chromatic bass tuner
Hold the footswitch down to activate the built-in chromatic tuner in an instant. Even on stage during a performance, all you need to do is move your foot to enable tuning. You can choose between a BYPASS mode that turns all the effects off and a MUTE mode that allows you to tune silently.
Tap the tempo using the footswitch
Use the Tap Tempo feature to set the tempo in real-time to the rhythm of a song as you play the bass. You can also use it to for delay times and modulation effect frequencies.
Program the order of your patches
With the MS-60B, you can program which patches are recalled and the order in which they appear. For example, you could select three patches—(A) ROCK BASS, (B) FUNKY SLAP and (C) BASS SYNTH—so that you can cycle through them each time you press the footswitch. You can create and save up to 50 original tones in this way.
Presets that are available right out of the box
Right out of the box, the MS-60B allows you to create and store up to 50 of your original patches. To get you started, 30 of these patches are preprogrammed and form a versatile collection of bass sounds that include some of the most popular stompbox and amp effects, as well as patches personally designed by some of the world's top bassists.
Support for line recording
In addition to the six amp models from the B3, studio-level compressor and reverb effects are also built in to the MS-60B. The pedal's stereo output jacks allow you to use line connections for direct recording of its powerful bass guitar sounds.
7 hours operation on batteries
Using two AA alkaline batteries (sold separately), you can operate the MS-60B for up to 7 hours continuously. From rehearsal to the main stage, you can use the MS-60B with confidence. Power the pedal via AC adapter (sold separately) or USB bus, if you want to use it longer without worrying about battery life.
Stay up-to-date via USB
When connected to your computer and ZOOM's website via USB, you can perform system firmware updates to keep the functions of your MS-60B on the cutting edge.

Great little box!
I am having a lot of fun with this little thing! I am normally not an effects guy, and just wanted to try something new. I was most interested in the amp modeling, and DI's, but have found myself really enjoying all the effects, and sounds this thing makes! Time flies by in blissful sonic exploration! For under $100 this thing is a blast! If you only find 2 sounds (Doubtful! I have found many, and have only just begun!) you like then it is worth every cent!

Affordable, good sounds, hard to set-up
If you're someone that isn't willing to spend a lot of time studying the manual then this is not for you. Because the whole deal here is that they've put a lot of sounds and features into a very tiny box, and the only way you can access those features is to study the layout. To make matters worse, it is absolutely the worst manual ever. Important information is left out and you'll spend time just punching random buttons looking for a result. Having said all of that, the sounds are good. I just needed basic reverb, delay and chorus and those sound very nice. It has a small quantity of a lot of different sounds besides those: modulations, amp sims, distortions, synth effects. Thus far in my use, running it stereo doesn't appear to produce any sort of stereo imaging - it just has a similar sound coming out of two outputs. But maybe there's a hidden switch somewhere that activates the stereo. Or maybe it only works on certain effects. Again, the manual offers nothing. Also know that the switching between sounds is very limited. You have to label them A,B,C etc. and it will follow that and loop around. If you use the same sequence of effects for every song that's perfect. But otherwise it's a pain. Say you just want to go Chorus, distortion, chorus on song one. It will toggle back and forth if Chorus is A and distortion is B. Perfect. But what if you have C, D, and E sounds that you need for the next song? Then your A and B won't loop - it will run right into C,D, and E. To summarize, this COULD be a really nice unit, but Zoom really needs to do some homework on it first. They clearly haven't run this by many beta testers. Maybe another version of it will come out later with these things worked out. In the meantime, I wouldn't recommend this product to a friend.

Really like it so far. If you use it with an acoustic/electric bass, you will need a sound hole cover to prevent feedback with some of the effects.

Great amp sounds preamp sounds distortion sounds and fuzz sounds, has every modulation or effect you could need in one box. It works well in front of an amp but I really like to use it in an FX loop (if using in an FX loop can't use the tuner and the noise suppressor can cause some cut out, but bass plugged straight in of course the tuner works well and in front noise suppressor works as expected) most versatile pedal I've ever had. I have another multi effects that is really good this one is easier to use I also have a lot of pedals but wanted to add this, it is a very versatile tool a bassists haven of sounds

I personally love Zoom multi effects. I have a Bn3 and use this pedal as a preprocessor (compressor/preamp). It's also a good way to try out different effects before purchasing a dedicated pedal.
Awesome. I would buy it again.

This pedal is great. I bought it mainly to use the amp simulator, but all effects are so good that created some patches .
Great pedal, lots of features, tonal customization

This is a great mini version of the full blown Zoom B3. Same great sounds all tucked in a standard sized pedal. And it works off of 2 AA batteries. Seems to get 7 hours or so of battery life. - Cons, no bypass for the pedal. Once you're plugged in, it's on whether you are using any of the effects or not. Not able to just foot switch your way thru the effects or preset options. You have to use the arrow buttons to switch presets.
Lots of fun once you learn how to use it!

This is my first multi-effect pedal and I'm more than happy with this purchase. It feels well made and I suspect that it would hold up well if used in a live setting. Up to now I have only used it during band practice and when playing on my own but everyone (including myself) have been impressed with the many options and the quality of sounds. Being able to model some of the more recognizable amps is really great for those of us like myself who are just starting out and maybe don't have the money to put into the higher end amps yet. I use this with my Fender P Bass and I'm able to generate tons of different sounds to match my mood or the particular genre of music I'm playing at the moment. The preset effects are cool but to really get the most out of this thing you have to do a little homework and find out how to create your own sounds using the available effects. The included instructions are okay but I found videos on youtube to be more helpful and easier to follow. You can stack and tweak effects to create that custom sound that fits your liking. At the price, it's hard to go wrong with this thing. Even if this doesn't make it into your live playing or recording the fun factor is worth the $100 you'll spend for it.
