Very versatile multi effects pedal. Some effects are unique. I like that it can be used for practicing with headphones without amp.

I've been playing bass for many years but this is the first effects bass pedal I've ever used. Initially, I only wanted overdrive/distortion and a chorus effects. After shopping around for these, it seemed that the Zoom pedal had lots of capability and tone options in those areas. Plus, it was only one pedal to haul and set up. A bonus for me is the drum section. I find this useful for practice. As in the old days when synthesizers lost their control knobs, sliders and switches in favor of digital menus, you have to be prepared for the learning curve involved in setting up and controlling the device through menus and limited physical controls. This involves learning the device. It has presets, but to configure the pedal to activate the exact sound/effect under the time constraints of live performance, preset or custom tone, you have to first understand a deep menu system and configure it in advance. I knew that prior to purchase, so I don't count that against the product. Just be prepared to invest time with the manual learning the device. Even turning an effect on or off is not intuitive. I'm happy with the pedal. I know I will be able to produce the effects I want once I learn it.

    1) No, it doesn't. 2) I don't know what you mean by a kit.

Forget my previous question. A fellow in the Chat area answered it for me. It has to do with the condition, not the processor. ..
