20" FX ORIENTAL CRASH OF DOOM

Zildjian Drum Set Cymbals 101

How To Prevent Your Cymbals From Cracking

Description
The Zildjian FX Crash of Doom Cymbal is a bold, explosive effects cymbal designed to deliver massive accents and dark, complex character. Built for drummers who want something truly unique in their setup, this B20 cast bronze crash produces a booming, trashy sound that stands apart from traditional cymbals. Inspired by acclaimed jazz fusion drummer Dennis Chambers and featuring irregular lathing with a thin profile, the Crash of Doom opens up quickly with a wide, powerful spread and low-pitched response that works well for dramatic accents, layered textures and atmospheric grooves.
Dark, Explosive Tone With Distinctive Character
The Crash of Doom lives up to its name with an explosive attack, broad sustain and ultra-trashy tonal profile. Its dark, low-pitched voice is filled with complex, exotic overtones that create a lingering wash of sound with plenty of personality. Dry stick definition adds versatility beyond standard crash applications, allowing the cymbal to function as both a dramatic effects voice and a textural layer within grooves, transitions and stacked cymbal setups.
Versatile FX Cymbal for Creative Setups
The 20" Crash of Doom is designed for drummers looking to expand their setup with unconventional textures and expressive accents. Whether used as a standalone effects cymbal or combined with other cymbals in stacked configurations, it delivers a distinctive blend of explosive attack, dark tone and musical complexity. Add massive presence and unique tonal character to your kit with the Zildjian FX Crash of Doom Cymbal.
