An Excellent Value
If you are considering buying an electronic metronome, DON'T. This is what you want. I feel watching a swinging pendulum is one of the best ways to improve your sense of rhythm and because this metronome uses a wind-up mechanism, you never need to buy batteries! Also, the markings help teach you the names of the tempos (like andante, allegro, presto, etc.). For me, practicing with a *real* metronome -- rather than using an electronic "beep box" -- is the best way to improve my playing and I think the Wittner Taktell Piccolo is one of the best values on the market.

I am learning to play the ukulele. A metronome is useful in learning to stay on tempo and it was recommended that we use one. Although there are free apps for phones I wanted a more traditional model.

A solid metronome with a classic look. It's a easy to use with a wind up key and starts with a gentle push of the pendulum. Then it goes until it winds down. I love it's easy of use, reliability and it while it's a modern piece it has a classic appearance.
I recommend this product.

Does this unit have a mic jack to use while recording a rhythm track? If not, is there another way to use it as a "click track" for recording? Thanks!
This does not have a mic jack
