Way Huge Electronics WM20 Mini Conspiracy Theory Professional Overdrive Effects Pedal

Description
They say it relies on alien technology bestowed upon our ancient forebears, producing a sound so dazzling that it generates a heatless auditory light that they say will liberate the consciousness of any guitarist who kicks it on. Adjusting the Gain control initiates a form of fusion heretofore unknown to science, bonding rich harmonics with your guitar signal to create smooth, transparent overdrive. Use the Volume and Treble controls to set just how far your signal penetrates the furthest reaches of the universe and what it’s shape is when it gets there.
Thanks to a rather harrowing clandestine operation, now you hav the ability to harness the mythical power of the Conspiracy Theory Professional Overdrive right on your pedalboard. The tone is out there ... go get it.

Great tone with my Strat

Just got this Conspiracy Theory and initial feedback is positive. First off I don't typically use pedals because they mess with the tone of my Stratocaster Marshall combination. But I played a good 8 hours with it and different settings based on internet feedback, etc. Way Huge did a great job of recreating the Klon sound. Like I said I'm hesitant to any device configuration that alters my sound. What I got with this pedal was the liquid sound and extra sustain that I was missing without loss of tone. This pedal is way quieter than other pedals that have met the graveyard after my evaluation. Your experience could be different based on guitar amp etc. configuration. But this Conspiracy Theory has made it to my pedalboard for now.
perfect overdrive to blend with your tube amp clean or dirty

I usually plug straight into my Marshall DSL, but now the Conspiracy Theory has become "always on" for me, enhancing both the classic gain and ultra gain channels in a way that I have never been able to dial in with any other overdrive, maintaining all the guitar's tone and pickup/amp touch sensitivity. It works equally well with all pickup types. I can dial back the amp gain, keep the noise floor lower, and have a warmer, fuller tone. I think the pedal sounds the best when you bring up the gain to at least 12:00 to blend the harmonics with your amp. You can push it up and the pedal edges on distortion, but never harsh or edgy. The treble control is super powerful. I have tried a lot of different overdrive circuits, the only other Klon clone I tried was a Soul Food and it worked completely different than this pedal. I would say the Conspiracy Theory is probably a better representation of what the Klon is supposed to do and is a fantastic overdrive with a tube amp. It does work as a clean boost but I think it sounds better using the volume to push the amp slightly and dialing up the gain to add saturation to taste. Stacks well with a TS9 in front of it (gain at 0) to slam the amp if you want. I would suggest this pedal to anyone playing any kind of music. It has a lot of headroom and can be powered by a 9v battery. Way Huge makes good stuff.
Best Of The Best

For the record, I have never played through an actual Klon Centaur before, and I have no interest in spending that much money on a guitar pedal, but I am overly obsessed with these Klon Clones, and the Conspiracy Theory is my new favorite. I was dead set on the Wampler Tumnus, and I even bought a few of them just in case, but the Conspiracy Theory may have just taken its place. Though the Tumnus is extremely powerful and sweet sounding, something about the Conspiracy Theory just seems a bit richer. I plugged in all of my Klones (Tumnus, Sugar Drive, Soul Food, Conspiracy Theory), and the Conspiracy Theory just kept coming out on top. The others are all solid sounding as well, and the Tumnus is definitely a close second, but I think that the Conspiracy Theory is now my number one.
Second best overdrive I've ever had.

I've tried so many overdrives and I never really like them. I prefer amp break-up. But sometimes I want some extra. My favorite overdrive is the discontinued Moog model. This is the only overdrive I have that even cones close to making me happy. So far it's worked with every guitar and amp combo I've put through it. I feel like it has a raspy female blues singer voice, like Janis Joplin or Beth Hart. It can be mellow and smooth or screaming witch. It just works!
