Hey - they're XLR cables! You don't buy them because they're the latest, greatest, magic piece of gear that will inspire you to play or sing better than you ever imagined; they're a necessity. That said, when you don't have to worry about poor connections, inferior sound quality or bulky, stiff cables, it's a big plus. These are high-quality, all around. Look up the company that manufactures the actual cable: top-notch stuff. Solid connectors. Well put together. This is what you need; otherwise, the "exciting" stuff you have won't sound as good as it could.
