Walrus Audio Slo Multi-Texture Reverb Effects Pedal

Description
The Slö Multi Texture Reverb allows musicians to generate dramatic, modulated reverb textures. With three reverb modes—Dark, Rise and Dream—you can create everything from lush, ambient swells to infinite pads. The Dark mode adds a lower octave to the reverb trail for a deep, wide sound. The Rise mode is an auto-swell reverb that gradually comes in after you play a note. The Dream mode offers a lush reverb with a latch function to capture and sustain the reverb.
Three Distinct Modes for Endless Creativity
The Slö Multi Texture Reverb gives you three reverb modes to inspire your creativity. The Dark mode adds a lower octave to the reverb for a massive, atmospheric effect perfect for intros and soundscapes. The Rise mode is an auto-swell reverb that gently rises in volume after you play to create beautiful, cinematic textures. The Dream mode offers a lush reverb with an infinite sustain to craft floating pads and ambient layers.
Momentary Switching for Sonic Accents
With the Slö's momentary footswitch, you can create bursts of reverb on demand. Simply press and hold the footswitch to temporarily activate the reverb and add texture to specific notes or phrases. Release the footswitch and the reverb fades out. This allows you to accent your playing with reverb without it overwhelming the entire signal.
Sustain Switch Manipulates Decay On the Fly
The Slö's Sustain switch gives you real-time control over the reverb decay. Press the Sustain switch and the reverb decay ramps up, creating a long, dramatic trail. Release the switch and the decay ramps back down to the level set by the Decay knob. In the Dream mode, the Sustain switch latches the infinite reverb pad. Press it once to capture the reverb, then again to release it.
Selectable Trails Mode
The Slö offers selectable Trails mode so you can choose whether the reverb decays naturally or cuts out instantly when the effect is bypassed. With Trails mode on, the reverb will ring out naturally, allowing those long decays and pads to continue fading. With Trails mode off, the reverb cuts out immediately when bypassed.

If you are looking for a unique reverb pedal, this is it. The sound that you can produce on this pedal is way cool than others on the market. Easy to use and op mounted jacks are always awesome😊

Wide range of effects for a reverb pedal. Also looks awesome if that means anything to you. I don't consider it a negative but the only thing I found a little tricky was the wiring. The input and output are super close to the power input. I had to use a couple different cables to get the right fit. Not a big deal to work it out, just looks a little odd on the pedal board. Definitely a good buy though.

I've been pretty blown away by this little thing. With three different reverb modes, three different modulation shapes, and an X knob to spice things up, this pedal goes from wide creativity mode to straight up ambience. It's not just your average reverb pedal, and it's not just a modulated reverb either. It's something on its own. I highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for any of the things that I mentioned above. It's a killer pedal.

The effects you get are legit unique and sound extremely nice. It's definitely worth the money but you have to invest a little time to learn the effects. Everything on the pedal is there to tweak your sound, if you're hating the pedal you probably don't know how to use it:)

This Reverb sounds amazing. Three different setting types provide surprisingly unique takes on a shimmer type reverb. Two of them add a semi infinite sustain that can add a pseudo sustain to my Pianet and almost make my Prophet 5 sound like it has more than 5 voices. The third setting creates an actual Freeze effect that holds the note as long as you press down on the sustain foot switch. As is common on this type of reverb/freeze functionality, the reverb does not effect additional notes on this last setting, only the first two where the sustain is more of a really long decay which leaves the reverb still active but will eventually fade away. The reverb effect itself is very clean but not brittle, and the decay fade is super smooth, no sign of abrupt decay except for the shorter decay time settings. I always judge reverbs on their long decays and how clean they fade. The decay on this is really great. The quality of decay and the modulation options of the three settings are as good as pedals that cost twice the price. You won't find any memory settings but the modulation settings are remembered between the three switched types and you can toggle the trails on and off. Very good versatile pedal. As a keyboardist I only wish it were stereo, but I know it's mainly a guitar pedal and most guitar rigs are not dual amped.

Does this have True Bypass or Buffer?
The manufacturer does not state it so I would assume no.
