Eight Isolated Outputs Provide Stable Power for All Your Pedals

The X8 features eight isolated outputs with independent grounding and voltage regulation. This isolation prevents interference between digital and analog pedals, as well as pedals with different power requirements. The X8's eight outputs provide more than enough power for most pedalboards, with two 12V, two 9V, and four switchable 9V/12V outputs. Standard 2.1 mm center-positive jacks make the X8 compatible with virtually all guitar pedals.

Ideal mix of power outputs in a small, powerful package.

I was given the Universal Audio Enigmatic pedal as a birthday gift. The pedal didn't come with a power supply and, unfortunately, requires minimum 300mA. Since my other pedal strips and power cords were all 100mA or less, I had to buy a power supply. I found the Voodoo Labs X8 and it has 8 outputs, each rated at 500mA isolated DC outputs. This is about the smallest 8 outlet pedal power strip I've seen. It is a compact, almost ultra-compact as far as pedal power strips go. 5.5" x 2.75" x 1" and just 8 ounces. The AC adapter is reminiscent of a computer power brick but it too is small at 4.25" x 1.8" x 1.25" and just 4 ounces. If you travel or tour, you're going to like the size of this unit. Here's the scoop. Compact. Powerful. Eliminates hum. No interference between pedals. Simply put, it may be expensive compared to cheaper competitors, but it works great and has Voodoo Labs' reliability.

I own 2. I will never buy this product again.

I've had nothing but trouble with these power supplies. At first I thought my pedals were failing. But when I touch the powersupply itself it grounds out and sends the loudest electrical signal straight to my amp. You cannot depend on this product. They are good for maybe a year. There has to be a better solution out there. Good luck searching.

    I had unwanted noise from pedals and cheap power supply. Voodoo power supply eliminated that freaking noise. Now the only noise is the natural from single coil pickups. Easy to install.

    Will this work with my 7 boss pedals all on the board. One is the RC5 looper and the boss tuner, the others are chorus, od-3, angry Charlie, Reverb and chorus. The one spot daisy chain does not cut it.
