Great stick for R&B

I have used the original Weckl stick which I loved, but the paint made it a little difficult to hold onto sometimes when my hands would sweat. On this drumstick, the handle is a little smaller (my only dislike), but the length is great and the barrel tip sounds great also. These seem a little heavier than other sticks in this size range. I thought it was from the honey hickory material, but Vic Firth says there is no difference between this and regular hickory. After a short time of playing with them they feel awesome. This stick is great for lower volume R&B, Funk, and Rock gigs, as well as some jazz applications as well.

These sticks are the greatest. Good weight and with the extra length makes for easier reach and more accuracy. I truly love these sticks even though there expensive, they are the best I've ever played with.

Theese are fantastic drumsticks if you want to have skinny drumsticks that you can move around the drumset more quickly. I bought two pairs and I've had them for two months a the first pair still hasn't broke. I definitely reccomend theese if you want to be an elusive player.
