Vic Firth Drumsticks 101

Vic Firth

Description

The Tim Genis Concert snare stick was made with input from Tim Genis, the principal timpanist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Made from persimmon, which is known for its density, durability and high-impact resistance, these sticks produce a full-bodied and slightly darker sound than other wood. The density also gives added power, allowing the player to avoid overplaying. The Tom Genis Concert snare stick measures 16.81".

Incredible balance and control leading to complete accuracy and wonderful articulation any dynamic level. The persimmon is light weight but still substantial enough to play easily. Beautiful sticks.
