I have several practice pads. This one has good rebound and a nice quiet high pitch pop. Definitely not a chop builder, good for practicing difficult patterns where you need drum head response.

  • I would Buy this one again

This pad is simply amazing. I promise you that you will love this pad. It is loud, but you can play on the backside that is black foam. The back side has less bounce response, but it is quieter. If you can see the picture on the page, it is all yellow and in a round shape. The new ones that you will get if your order it will be different. It will be a white rubber color, but part of it will be cut off for the logo name. but overall, it is a great pad!!!! Buy it!!

It's defidently the best practice pad I have EVER used. Yes, it is loud but much easier to practice on for the snare drum students. I 100% recommend it.

I absolutely love this pad, you should definetly buy this pad if you would like a high tension marching snare feel. Great for hybrid rudiments and good flam control. I do not like the new version of the pad, because it is a different color and part of it is cut off. Not like the old version which is yellow. (In the display Picture).
