The Modern Jazz Collection (MJC2) is slightly thinner than the 5A with an extra long taper for unbelievable response and playability. Elongated arrow tip provides a broad surface area, perfect for pulling lots of complex overtones out of the cymbals.

Never before available to the public, the five models in the Modern Jazz Collection were developed collaboratively with drummers on the cutting edge of "America's Original Art Form", including Jeff Ballard, Greg Hutchinson, Joe McCarthy and Lewis Nash.

    These sticks just worked, I really liked these sticks, had a nice flow and everything. Problem is that my pair broke, and now I've been unable to buy a new pair, which is my problem. Also they did feel slippery, but that's alright. Obviously it might not be for everyone, but it fit with me, and I wish they weren't out of stock for months as of when I'm writing this.

    Bought this as a gift. Sticks are great quality and I enjoyed experiencing the difference between all 5 pairs of sticks with different weights, balance point, thickness etc. Loved the red stick bag too.
