I love the stick this stick is awesome the tip is a elongated oval tip For a full dark sound this is a Modified 5b Not a modified 5a The length and weight of this drum stick is perfect I actually owned two pairs of the Charlie Watts Drumsticks The old version in the newer version What a fantastic stick that Charlie and Vic Firth came up with Excellent stick all around

The Charlie Watts signature Vic Firth sticks are awesome. Not only great for jazz but for any type of music. I just recently went back to using these sticks and I am glad I did. Perfect balance and the oval tip sounds great on the cymbals. Mr Watts who will be incredibly missed, but he sure knew what he was doing when he designed these sticks with Vic Firth. I will continue to use these sticks for sure.

I used the Charlie Watts stick for years and then went on the try the Freestyle range , I love the 5B and the Questlove stick .. I just bought a Zildjian 18" flat ride second hand but wasn't happy with the sound , So who else uses one, Charlie Watts , so I bought a couple of pairs . I'd forgotten how great the sticks make ride cymbals sound and my new flat really came alive . I'm back with the CW sticks and the drums sound fatter with them too .

Great stick. The tip is a little bigger and it feels great. Very comfortable Stick.

First off, Charlie Watts is a fine drummer, and his blues and jazz influences are appreciated by me. So when I bought these sticks, I was not expecting to receive such heavy, thick sticks. The enormity of the sticks is all the more felt when held in traditional grip. However, you will get a good crack outta your snare with this fella, but just be aware that these are probably not the type of sticks you're expecting to receive. BUY THEM.
