Vestax PMC-007 DJ Mixer

Ideal for serious scratch DJs, the battle-worthy 2-channel PMC-007 draws on the strengths of the PMC-05ProII and the PMC-07Pro, then adds scratch EQ, ReX faders, and rehearsal mute/freeze.

The PMC-007 features an open battle zone around the crossfader and input faders that makes it ideal for fast scratching and battle moves. Each channel features a 3-band isolator and individual effects routing, as well as a channel (PGM) mute function to practice a scratch or mix on the master crossfader without sending signal to the master output. Pressing a dedicated mute button 'freezes' the master output level and allows the crossfader to feed the headphones only.

A special one-touch EQ button brings in a preset scratch EQ setting with high- and mid-frequency boost for maximum effect during a scratch performance.

The PMC-007 offers a mic input with 2-band EQ and loop input capability, along with unbalanced effects send and return, 2 line inputs, and 2 phono inputs, all on RCA connectors. Also included are balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs, RCA booth outputs, and 1/4" and mini jack headphone outputs.

The mixer also features a third-generation Vestax PCV fader, and a snap in/out rapid-exchange system that allows the crossfader to be replaced in under 30 seconds without tools or screws. A bonnet-style face plate opens by loosening the screw underneath the body and pulling forward, popping open like a car hood. Power supply: high-power AC-12 adapter.
