Description
The Tetra Bar wash light strip from Venue produces dazzling, colorful washes with over three feet of coverage. Unique color blends and chase options are also available due to four independent color zones. Full color control is provided by 12 ultrabright, 4W quad-color LEDS with 14 static colors, 20 standard chases, 20 sound-active chases, DMX control, Master/Slave capability, manual color mixing, strobe effects and more. A durable dual L-bracket design allows you to position the Tetra Bar for optimal sound coverage depending on the venue. Whether on a stand, mounted on a truss or on the dance floor, you can ensure that every member of your audience can immerse themselves in your sound.
Real-Time Operation
The Tetra Bar wash light is also compatible with DMX-512 operation, in conjunction with controllers like the Venue Tetra Control. Complete control via a range of DMX modes is also available. Multiple fixtures, as well as Master/Slave functionality, can be used with the included DMX in/out jacks. Power linking for up to 25 units reduces the need for outlets, and also assists in keeping cables organized for a hazard-free environment.

The Tetra Bar includes 20 preprogrammed chases (10 switching, 10 fading) that use the unit’s built-in microphone for sound-activated responses. These can be easily accessed on the control display. The sensitivity of the microphone can be adjusted at any time to accommodate your environment.

Great light for the money
Very bright and effective light. Tons of mounting options allow you to be creative in its use. Once it's coupled with the Tetra Control that's when it shines. 28 ch feature turns it into a 4 zone light which is very cool.

Not worth the money, look for another brand.
I bought eight of these for doing a color wash on a wall. I've used other "ProLine Venue" products before with good results, but these are in no way related to the "ProLine" versions. While the colors are bright and vibrant, there is significant color aberration around the edges of the wash that make getting a consistent color wash across the throw of the fixture impossible. For example, when trying to throw a white wash, one edge is very red, and the other edge is very blue. Another major issue I had with these fixtures is that they are NOT CAMERA FRIENDLY! It is challenging to find a camera frame-rate/shutter-speed combination that these lights do not flicker on video. You've been warned. Another huge issue I have with these fixtures is the power-pass-thru connections. They are advertised as being able to power-link up to 25 units (or 10amps). However, the pass-thru power outlet is wired in series with each unit's main fuse (1amp). That means that you can't link more than a couple of these without blowing the fuse on the first unit in the chain! This is a huge quality oversight and just reinforces that these are not high-quality fixtures. Overall, I'm stuck with these because of time-constraints I had on my project, but I will NOT be buying "Venue" products for lighting ever again. Very disappointed.

I use this for my school talent show and off-site gigs that require lights. I use 4 tetra 6s with 3 tetra bars in a 15ft truss. All controlled with the tetra controller. That coupled with a small rock hazer makes a decent light show.
Awesome lights! Powerful and easy to program!

I bought 2 of these today to chain together for a light show. First of all, the legs will no keep the unit upright if you set it on the stage or floor. It flops over. The unit MUSTY be mounted to something else to stay upright. The knob to lock the legs at a specific angle is plastic and must be WAY MORE than hand tight to lock or the unit just flops over. Next, in order to Daisey-chain the power you MUST buy a SEPARATE power cable. These geniuses decided to use male and female computer cord plugs on the back side, instead of a computer cord and an AC inlet like every other lighting product in the history of EVER! So don't buy multiples thinking you can chain them together. NOPE! You must buy an additional ord, and the the other power cords are just worthless. Even the guy on their tech support line thought you just plugged one power cord into the next unit. NOPE! Terrible product.

Can the internal controls be set to slowly fade colors from one to the next without an external control box? If I buy 2 can they be set to work in sync with each other? Thanks!
No, they cannot slowly fade. Yes you can hook up multiple units at once for sequencing
