Description

To give your sound a signature look and feel, Venue has designed the ideal ambient lighting to further enhance the experience of your performance with the Tetra 6 RGBA LED wash light. This light has six 4-watt quad-color LEDs for ultimate versatility of design choices. Made of a double-yoke design, this LED has a RGBA color palette for a varied number of color options. There is an auto-programming option where you can set-it-and-forget-it for a quick and simple operation. Further internal controls and DMX compatibility guarantees that this light will fit easily into your current lighting setup.

Wide Variety of Operating Choices

There are various internal operating modes, including one that is a sound-active mode with a built-in microphone. With the Venue Tetra control and DMX-512 operating capabilities, the Tetra 6 gives you the choice to operate in 3CH, 4CH, 5CH, or 6CH DMX mode for ultimate versatility. There is a master/slave function, DMX in/out jacks and power linking capabilities, of up to 62 units at once, which means you’ll need a lot less outlets and be able to use several fixtures simultaneously.

Vivid Color Mixing

With a wide selection of color mixing features, the Tetra 6 provides a full array of colors to choose from to help set the mood you are looking to achieve. This includes 20 sound-active chases, 20 standard chases and 14 static colors with static color mixing that gives the perfect ambient lighting. This LED light seamlessly integrates into your lighting design situation, with a versatility and intuitive functionality that makes it ideal for any application.

    Using these with venue controller works great for my solo uke power trio, American Ukerist. I love the foot switch part of the controller for changing lights hands free while I play and sing.

    #sweepstakes Started playing with lights for outside patio shows. Added this light to a light bar as the forth with three separate brands. This light is extremely bright but you can adjust the brightness. a great feature. my only complaint, i personally thought the built in mic for the sound setting could be better. It wasn't as responsive as another popular brand. that being said when using them together i get a very different light show.

    I set up a light show for a friend's band. He had 2 Tetras on his light bar I programmed plus my RGB wash lights. The Tetra is a RGBA LIGHT and the brightness and saturation were amazing. Easy to program in DMX and runs good in Auto/Sound mode. I bought 2 for myself.

    We have owned a bunch of Venue's lights. From the Thinpar series, the ThinTri series and now the Tetra's. They have all been great so far! The Tetra series, unlike the Thinpar and ThinTri, have a metal housing and large fins through the middle of the unit for heat dissipation. They are half the price of their closest competitor, and have all the same specs. I would say my one complaint is that they have IEC power out, and not a standard Edison plug. This requires you to use an adapter or special IEC to IEC power plug to link the power between units. The older version of Venue's lights are all use an Edison output, which I prefer. I have only had these Tetra 6's for a few weeks, but they have been great so far! If they are anything like their older series of lights, they will last a while and I will be buying a bunch more.
